Argon2id-hashed tokens

Tokens are stored as Argon2id hashes — same params we use for passwords. We never see the plaintext after creation.

Instant revocation

Kill any token from the mobile app. Anything connected with it loses access immediately — no waiting.

RFC-compliant OAuth with PKCE, dynamic client registration, and resource binding. The same standards Anthropic recommends.

No account deletion

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol — an open standard from Anthropic that lets AI assistants like Claude securely connect to external data and tools. Gulpify exposes its API as an MCP server, so any compatible AI can read and update your supplement data with your permission.

Is this safe?

Yes. Tokens are Argon2id-hashed (we never store the plaintext), connections use HTTPS only, and the OAuth flow follows RFC 9728, 8414, 7591, 8707, and 7009. Account deletion isn't exposed via MCP — destructive operations are off-limits by design.

What can the AI actually do?

32 tools across supplements, schedules, dose logging, adherence stats, lab results, sun exposure, and library search — plus 5 expert workflows for morning check-ins, weekly reviews, lab consultations, planning new supplements, and catching up on missed logs.

What can it NOT do?

It can't delete your account, access other users' data, or do anything you can't already do in the app. Mobile-only preferences (theme, alarm sounds) are also excluded.

Does this cost extra?

No. The MCP server is included with Gulpify — free, like the rest of the app. You'll need an account from your usual AI provider (Claude.ai is free; Claude Pro unlocks more usage).

How do I revoke access?

Open the Gulpify app → Profile → Settings → Personal access tokens. Tap any token to revoke. Anything connected with that token loses access immediately.

Can I use ChatGPT or other AI assistants?

If your client speaks MCP and supports OAuth 2.1 + PKCE (Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT desktop with custom connectors, and more), the same connector URL works. No special build per assistant.

Where can I see exactly what the AI is doing?

Most clients (Claude, Cursor) display every tool call and its arguments in the chat. You always see what the assistant asked Gulpify to do before — and after — it happens.
